Apples to Apples to Story to Recipe to Table

Child this morning: "It's the first day of fall, right?"


 Me: "Not til Sept. 21."


 Child: "Well it already smells like crisp caramel apples, like the ones from my childhood."


 {It makes me happy when my children reveal happy childhood memories.}
